Payment & Shipping

A. Shipping-costs and -information:

Shipping is available for all countries DHL and Deutsche Post ship to. All products will be shipped by DHL. There are currently no additional shipping-costs, since they are incorporated in the prices of the products. This way, shipping is relatively more expensive for customers within Germany or the EU and relatively less expensive for all other customers. This model is meant to help erase discrimmination in availability of our products based on the location of customers.

Should you not be able to ship to the country of your choice, please reach out to us vie Mail at opensewers@gmail.com with your address, the products and the amount of them you want. We will inquire about the shipping-possibilities and get back to you as soon as possible.

For shipments outside of Germany, additional costs may be raised. Some of these costs are not within our responsibility to pay and have to be settled by you. Among these costs are charges for transmitting of money (i.e. transaction fees and currency exchange fees) or import charges (i.e. customs and taxes). Please get into contact with the local or national Office for Customs as well as the respective credit-transaction company, if you want to be as prepared as possible for any charges that might occur.

II. Detailed payment options information

1. Cash in advance

Transfer the money to our account, stating the invoice number within 14 days. Our account details and the invoice number will be sent to you in a separate e-mail. Shipping will start once we have the money.

Transfer the money to our account, stating the invoice number within 14 days upon the arrival of the products. Our account details and the invoice number will be sent to you in a separate e-mail.

3. mollie

We offer several payment-options via mollie. You can transfer the money via bank transfer, Giropay and PayPal. For terms and conditions of mollie please inquire on their website.

C. Shipping durations

Most of the time, we will process your shipment within a week. Please note that we don't have the capacities to process orders while we are on holidays.

I. Shipping durations for Germany

Within Germany, small shipments are sent via Bücherwarensendungen and big shipments via DHL. Please refer to the information of Deutsche Post and DHL for their estimated shipping durations. We estimate that your shipment may take 3-5 days to arrive.

II. Shipping durations outside of Germany

Outside of Germany, small shipments are sent via DHL Warenpost International and big shipments via DHL international. Please refer to the information of DHL for their estimated shipping durations. We estimate that your shipment may take up to 6 weeks to arrive.
